Durable, heavy, and clear in design, these disposable Salad Bowls are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), a bio-resin made from corn starch. Even though these clear salad bowls are as light and strong as plastic, they will compost within 180 days in a commercial composting facility. The tight-fitting lids make these salad bowls with the lids (Lids Sold Separately) a leak-proof combination. These salad bowls are great for take-out restaurants, deli counters, and grocery stores.
