Durable, heavy, and clear in design, these disposable Salad Bowls are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), a bio-resin made from corn starch. Even though these salad bowls are as light and strong as traditional plastic, they are CMA Certified Compostable to compost within 180 days in a commercial composting facility, which may not exist in your area. The tight-fitting lids make these salad bowls with the lids (Lids Sold Separately) a leak-proof combination. These salad bowls are great for take-out restaurants, deli counters, and grocery stores. They are perfect for the needs and requirements of the food service industry as well as any family or individual consumer who is concerned about sustainability!
