World Centric® compostable clear dome lids for 24-48 oz salad bowls are made from PLA, which is made from plants. Even though these salad bowl lids are as light and strong as traditional plastic, they are CMA Certified Compostable to compost within 180 days in a commercial composting facility, which may not exist in your area. An eco-friendly salad bowl lid, made from compostable materials, that is great for takeout restaurants, deli counters, and grocery stores. These compostable lids are freezer-safe and suitable for cold foods, too.  These corn plastic salad bowl lids are perfect for the needs and requirements of the food service industry as well as any family or individual consumer who is concerned about sustainability.
