What material are these 10 Ounce Cups made from, and what are their environmental characteristics?

These 10 Ounce Cups are made from PLA (Polylactic Acid), which is a plant-based plastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch. They are compostable in commercial composting facilities, meaning they will break down completely into natural elements without leaving harmful residues. This makes them an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastic cups. 

*Corn plastic begins to melt at 105 degrees F. Please store out of direct sunlight.***

Products are packaged in recyclable paperboard and polyolefin plastic wrap. Please recycle all packaging where available. Recycling facilities may not be available in all areas.
